Welcome to Fossil Dig
An Easy And Fun Search For Fossils!

Young future paleontologist will experience
the thrill of
scientific discovery by unearthing and identifying an endless
supply
of fossils, of which they will be allowed to take home.
How does the Fossil Dig work?
Water flows over an 8-foot water wheel into a wooden trough. To
find the fossils, dump your bag/bucket of dirt into a screen
tray, lower it into the trough and sift it in the rushing water
with a gentle side to side motion. The water will slowly wash
away the sand, and you will soon discover
lots of
prehistoric fossils can be claimed such as sea urchins,
ammonites, gastropods, shark teeth, assorted shells, brachiods
and petrified wood just to name a few.
